Who we are looking for: As part of the Compliance Monitoring team, the Senior Associate's role is to ensure effective compliance risk monitoring and advisory service is provided to all areas of the IFDS business, to management companies and auditors. This is a key role in ensuring the successful completion of IFDSL Compliance department's objectives. The Senior Associate will assist in the provision of an efficient and effective compliance service and contribute to promoting high ethical standards within IFDS, as well as assist the company in meeting its regulatory obligations. The role requires regular liaison with various operational departments within the company at group level, with our business partners, sister companies and/or delegates and auditors. It also requires a strong collaboration with the Business Control team, with whom Compliance Monitoring performs joint tests. The Senior Associate will perform regular scheduled reviews of business processes within First Line of Defence, Second Line of Defence and at a Corporate Level with a view to report findings, recommendations and remedial action plans to the Board of IFDS. What you will be responsible for As Compliance Monitoring Senior Associate you will:
Proactively led Compliance Monitoring scoping, testing and reporting on compliance specific topics with a view to identifying, analysing and preventing compliance risks within IFDS business activity. This relates to both new business, as well as developing or enhancing existing controls to mitigate these risks.
Deliver quality Compliance Monitoring reporting, aiming for accuracy and meeting deadlines
Managing Outstanding Treatment Actions deriving from compliance monitoring reports
Adhoc and monthly reporting of overall annual compliance testing progression
Contribution to Annual Compliance Risk Assesment and Compliance Monitoring Planning.
Contribution to Due Diligence reporting for both IFDS driven Due Diligence exercises relating to Outsourcing Services Providers and other IFDS Vendor, as well as client driven Due Diligences.
Attendance to multiple internal and external forums
Management of Compliance Monitoring procedures and job aids ensuring they remain up to date as and when changes to process occurs.
Regular participation to internal and external industry and compliance trainings and forums, ensuring compliance monitoring testing scopes remain relevant and up to date.
Review Compliance Monitoring processes and practices and act as a change agent for improvement to individual and team performance

Education & Preferred Qualifications:
Initial working experience in Transfer Agency
Good administrative, organisational and business support skills with ability to multi-task
Proficiency in MS Office suite including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Strong English written & verbal communication skills
Ability to work accurately under pressure within tight deadlines
Good knowledge and understanding of EU and local rules and regulations.
Proactive, organised, self-reliant, flexible
Enthusiastic & motivated
Fluent in English (written and verbal)
Positive 'can do' attitude with good gap identification and problem solving skills
Collaborative in approach with strong emphasis on delivery and execution
