We are now seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to fill the position of Communications Manager of the Hong Kong Branch.
Plan and execute events (physical as well as virtual) in Asia, spearhead the planning and execution of events that are held within Hong Kong and Greater China
Engage and manage vendors for each event, including sourcing for appropriate venues and partners to support fringe activities etc
Manage the event budget
Time line management from producing the Save the Dates, Invitations, RM client nominations and RSVPs etc.
Work with the Head of Communications Asia to explore new ways to enhance client experience, be it through corporate gifts, event experience etc
Coordinate the on-site logistics of corporate gift orders in Hong Kong and manage the corporate gifts supply for the Front Office Teams
Strategic Planning of special events and other initiatives to support the synergy between Front Office and Advisory teams
Work with the Head of Communications Asia to ensure the Asia Communication budget is up to date and all activities are kept within budget
PR and Media Relations
Work with the bank's appointed PR agency to push out timely messages to the media
Facilitate media interviews and Q&A for key spokes persons
Vetting of English AND Chinese versions of corporate publications (highlights brochure, corporate presentation, ad hoc brochures)
Do regular write ups for intranet articles, success stories etc for publishing
Plan and manage internal colleague engagement events and activities
University Degree or equivalent in Marketing & Communication.
5 years of experience in similar communication role.
Understanding of the opportunities and challenges of the Wealth Management sector as well as its regulatory requirements.
Understanding of products and services offering.
Strategic communication vision, ability to advise management on key Communication topics and brand image.
Hands-on knowledge of all communication activities (events, advertising, press relations, etc.).
Knowledge and experience with all Communication techniques.
Proficiency in computer and office tools, with strong experience of the latest digital marketing and social media techniques.
Experience with Indesign-Photoshop.
Excellent team player but able to work independently.
Enthusiastic, dynamic and proactive.
Able to drive changes and creative.
Attention to details and deadlines.
Reliable and transparent towards its hierarchy (local and business).
Fluent in English and Chinese. Proficient in written simplified Chinese.
