Your new company This is an established company having been around for 30+ years who are now at an exciting time of further growth. They have two arms to the business, a lender and software solutions. They are looking for a Credit Team Manager to come with them on this journey offering huge exposure to the whole lending business as well as the IT software arm.
Your new role
Lead and manage the Credit function and team
Develop and improve the credit risk management capability
Oversee and provide sign off for credit decisions and the credit decision process
Maximise productivity within credit operations through continuous training and development
Providing recommendations, reporting and feedback on credit operations
Maintain and administer lending guidelines and policies
What you'll need to succeed You will need experience in end-to-end credit processes as well as people leadership. This is a small team of 3 which will require you to have broad credit knowledge to offer support but also to continually improve and innovate the credit operations function. You will ideally have exposure in residential and commercial property lending but the mortgage side is the most important. You will also need excellent stakeholder management skills and have an open and proactive leadership style.
What you'll get in return You will receive a salary of $100,000 - $120,000 + Super depending on experience.
