The incumbent joins the team to cover fixed income markets, including macroeconomic analysis and credit research on global investment grade and high yield bonds with an emphasis in Asia, work closely with portfolio managers.
Report to the Finance Director
Handle consolidated management accounts, ensure compliance with accounting standards and prepare full set of accounting document
Prepare accounting & management reports and cash flow analysis
Perform daily monitoring and reporting of capital liquidity according to the Financial Resources Rules (FRR)
Perform financial analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures, supporting annual budgets, providing trends and forecasts, explaining variance
Compile valuation report for private equity projects
Communicate directly and efficiently with internal stakeholders (local and head office) to gather information and prepare the financial analysis reports
Accurate and timely delivery of internal and external financial planning and analysis requests
Liaise with auditors and tax authorities on audit and tax issues
Support continuous process improvement of systems, policies and reporting
Conduct ad-hoc accounting projects where necessary
Degree holder in Accounting, Business Administration or related disciplines, accounting professional qualifications such as HKICPA/ ACCA/ CFA is an advantage
4-5 year's working experience in financial industry with FRR experience, preferably gained from asset management firm
Sound knowledge in SFC rules and regulations
Strong analytical mind and problem solving skill, and able to work under pressure
Good interpersonal, communication and presentation skills and SAP skills
Good command of written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin
