Our client is an established foreign bank who is committed to Asia and Singapore is the key location for their Asia growth. They continue to expand and due to internal mobility, they are looking to hire a Head of Risk, with a focus on Credit and Operation Risk for their operations in Singapore.
Reporting to the CEO, you will be managing the risk function of the boutique bank in Singapore. You will manage the overall risk management of the bank, including the regulatory liaison and advisory to your key business leads/stakeholders on credit, technology, operational, enterprise and market risk. This is both a transformation role whilst managing the daily deliverables to continue to refresh the bank's risk unit. You partner with the other risk counterparts in Head Office, Legal, Compliance, Finance and other senior stakeholders to manage the bank's agenda and strategy. This is a challenger role where your input will be highly visible to drive the core of the business to meet their 5-year plan.
You will possess at least 12 – 15 years of relevant risk management experience including proven track record in a leadership role gained in Banks. Open to risk candidates ready for a step-up role. Knowledge of credit risk management alongside with technology/operational risk is required. With strong communication and influencing skills, you are commercial, strategic, solutions-oriented , driven and possess the gravitas of a credible leader. You are a self-starter and has a quest to drive continuous improvement.
