Join our highly successful and growing Financial Institutions Group team in London, as a Vice President or Senior Vice President within the Advisory & Capital Solutions division of Macquarie Capital.
Our Financial Institutions team provides advisory and financing services, including M&A, Principal Investment and Leveraged Finance to Financial Institution clients. In addition, our Principal Finance team focuses on making direct private investments across the capital structure from common equity to structured senior debt using our balance sheet. Both of these teams are active in Financial Institutions, while also being active in other sectors that include industrials, TMT, Healthcare and Infrastructure with dedicated investment professionals based in London, New York, Hong Kong and Sydney.
As a Vice President or Senior Vice President, you will be involved in the execution of transactions from the outset and will be work closely with the senior team to generate and execute advisory transactions whilst managing the junior team, providing guidance on financial analysis and reviewing financial models. You will be key in designing and leading the production of presentations, information memoranda and other analysis for internal and external audiences and will lead due diligence processes on behalf of clients.
To be successful in this role, you will have at least 6-10 years of relevant experience in a comparable organisation, with strong experience in M&A within the Financial Institutions sector, preferably within the asset / wealth management, life insurance, fintech or specialty lending sub-sectors, and an excellent academic record. You will be a self-starter with the ability to demonstrate your deal execution experience and financial modelling skills. The ability to speak any foreign languages (particularly French, German, Belgian or Dutch) would be advantageous.
