Our client is a sizeable Chinese financial institution with diversified businesses. With their continuous expansion in their asset management business, an excellent opportunity has been created for a high-calibre product development professional to join their institutional business.
Serve as the primary product expert/conduit for all the alternative investment products
Responsible for the overall product-offering pipeline planning, flow design, product setup and optimization of the alternative assets for the sales Responsible for the product implementation and execution to ensure timely completion of the process/documentation of the new product launch by working closely with the various internal partners including Sales & Marketing, Investment teams, Legal & Compliance, Operations and Risk team
Responsible for identifying and developing new competitive products by, continuously, identifying market opportunities to complement the existing product offerings and for the overall business growth
Develop and manage project plans in support of product enhancement initiatives
Work with sales team on product positioning and organize sales campaigns and roadshows
Provide educational training/pitches to the sales team, clients, and prospects; Special projects and additional responsibilities to be assigned as and when required
Bachelor's degree in business, economics, finance, or a related discipline. MBA and/or CFA preferred
Minimum 10 years of relevant working experience with at least 3 years in alternatives assets management industry. Possess good knowledge on investment regulations is a plus
Strong product knowledge with proven practical experience in at least one alternative assets preferably in PE
Exceptional analytical, organizational and interpersonal skills with proven track record in project management
Ability to develop and establish credibility/rapport with sales, investment managers and colleagues from other departments
Strong presentation skills and ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff
Excellent client service aptitude and attitude
Excellent written and verbal communications skills in English & Chinese
Must be self-motivated, results-oriented, work under pressure and prioritize workload according to business needs, and be a strong team player
