We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a High Net Worth Premier Wealth Manager - Wealth and Personal Banking.
This a client facing role managing the HSBC relationship with our highest value international clients where professionalism, client focus and an expert understanding of financial planning and wealth products are critical to the success of the business. The successful candidate will be responsible for offering a blend of regulated and non-regulated solutions to meet the needs of our international clients. Experience of positioning and fulfilling investment and protection requirements for clients is essential for this role.
The jobholder will own and manage a ready-made portfolio consisting of circa 150 relationships as well as a designated referral system for the successful candidate. It would be advantageous for the candidate to have experience of working with international clients.
Deliver a consistent and tailored wealth management service to our most valuable Premier clients
Develop long-term, in depth client relationships
Acquire new clients with proactive strategic planning, utilising internal and external networks
Lead Premier activities to ensure opportunities are identified and client needs are met effectively, maximising all available resources
Comply with the relevant Group standards including GHQ and the Regulatory framework as applied to the implementation of the RBWM strategy in their country
Deliver on revenue and AUM growth expectations through holistic financial planning, utilising a blended product mix
Minimum DipCII (or equivalent QCF level 4 qualification) plus 'CPD gap fill' completed
HKSI / IIQE Hong Kong qualifications once in role
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
Experience working in relevant environment/s, Relationship Management of High Net Worth clients.
Excellent business development track record
Strong client focus with experience of building long term partnerships and managing complex relationships with significant clients.
Expert knowledge in financial planning and wealth products.
Sound knowledge of the impact of macroeconomics/microeconomics/local market developments.
Strong client focus and ability to develop long term partnerships with clients.
Ability to deliver needs-based solutions through effective communication, influencing, and sales skills.
