The Director of Wealth Management Service Support is a critical partner to a leadership team focused on service excellence and continued growth.
Working in concert with the Wealth Management Service Support leadership team, this position will ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations associated with these activities; responsible for effectively managing the performance of associates providing service support functions and ensuring these individuals are engaged, well trained, and quality oriented. This role will report to the EVP & Service Support Director.
Duties & Responsibilities
Create an outstanding employee experience and winning culture ensuring associates are provided the skills and knowledge needed to effectively deliver outstanding service while maintaining compliance with existing laws and regulations
Demonstrate creativity in the design and development of servicing methods and remain abreast of industry trends
Oversee the development and maintenance of procedures related to WM service support functions
Manage and lead team of WM service support associates ensuring timely completion of performance reviews and providing mentoring and coaching to enhance the performance and development of associates
Develop and maintain strong working relationships with the Wealth Management line of business and other divisions of the bank
Coordinate actions to create positive outcomes that support growth, efficient processing, and positive customer service experiences
Lead the development and monitoring of key performance metrics utilized to measure service performance and risk mitigation of functions within the team
Demonstrate the ability to guide others through the development and implementation of corrective action to improve performance that is not meeting established minimal acceptable performance standards
Oversee the development and monitoring of staffing models to aid in the analysis of staffing needs, areas of significant effort where process reviews may be required to improve workforce utilization, and to facilitate analysis of changing staffing needs within the team
Lead others in recognizing, and planning for, high volume periods and ensuring necessary actions are taken to ensure appropriate staffing is available to support servicing needs during these periods
Lead activities related to bank and system integrations ensuring minimal disruptions to customer service and ensuring accuracy of data throughout the process
Lead small to large scale initiatives by designing and communicating outcomes, managing the delivery of others and meeting or exceeding established deadlines

Education & Training
Requires Bachelor's degree
CFP, CTFA, CSOP or FINRA Series 7, 66 (or equivalent), preferred
Requires 5 or more years of related Operations or Trust Administration experience; specifically, 5+ years or more of financial services or brokerage experience preferred; strong business and investment acumen-knowledge of Investment Products, Individual Retirement Accounts (IRAs), managed accounts, and employee benefit programs required
Requires knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, etc.) and various file manipulation skills
Proven experience in a leadership capacity, ability to motivate at an individual and team level, experience overseeing other managers preferred
