In this role, you will work closely with the compliance team locally to make sure that the institution complies with local laws and regulations on a client level. As a (Senior) Compliance Officer, you will be responsible of developing and executing the Compliance strategy and contributing your knowledge to the entire company!
As a (Senior) Compliance Officer, you will be: * Developing all compliance activities, in cooperation with other Compliance Officers * Independently developing and running Compliance training to all internal departments * Participating in compliance education sessions in order to keep the 1stline updated on the latest developments in compliance meetings * Assisting in the development of a risk management program * Reporting into the senior management with regards to all Compliance Regulations * Providing ad-hoc advice and guidance to the Compliance team on the full range of compliance topics, including AML, sanctions, privacy, conflicts of interest, outsourcing, licensing etc. in accordance with the relevant regulations * Supporting all finance and legal account managers and other compliance officers, in both the client acceptance process and client file reviews * Participating in Client Acceptance Meetings, Internal Compliance Meetings, Business Compliance Meetings and Compliance Management Meeting
As a (Senior) Compliance Officer, you should have: * A Master's degree in Law or equivalent * Minimum of 3 years Compliance experience within the financial services industry * Experience with trust regulations and anti-money laundering regulations such as; WTT and WWFT * Understanding of Risk Management * Experience with compliance issues with regards to regulatory and governance requirements * Fluency in English * Ability to work within a global and multicultural environment * Team player
