Derivatives Operations Analyst
Harrington Starr are working with a leading Hedge Fund and they are searching for a specialist in Settlements to join their close-knit operations team in the city of London. The client are looking to hire an individual who is a self-starter who has a proactive approach to their work. This role will give you excellent exposure to European clients and potential to work on exciting projects.

The client is searching for an Operations specialist with expertise in Settlements, Clearing and reconciliations. You will be expected to have a detailed understanding of the full trade life cycle and an ability to solve trade queries in a timely and professional manner. 

Requirements for the role:

• Understanding of Trade Process ( Execution, Clearing and settlement)
• Previous experience working in a Operations role within Financial Services
• Has a basic knowledge of VBA and/or Python (able to automatise simple tasks in excel)
• Understands the basic working of the main types of derivative financial instruments (options, futures, swaps)
