Job Title: GWS Treasury Analyst - EMEA
Location: London
Role Purpose
The role of the Treasury Analyst is primarily to support the Treasury Manager in the day to day running of the department and to assist with ongoing and ad hoc projects as they occur.
This will be a hands-on role that will require someone who enjoys working within a multi entity, complex treasury structure across EMEA and who enjoys a fast-paced evolving environment. Dealing with both internal and external stakeholders across the region we are looking for someone who is able to hit the ground running, is confident and able to communicate effectively at all levels and who is looking to build on their solid treasury experience in a forward thinking, global company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Actively working with controllers in numerous locations across EMEA to manage centralised cash flow forecasting and the analysis and verification of information provided within the forecasts.

  • Working with the US team to arrange the timely funding of relevant in country operational bank accounts to meet the requirements of entities across EMEA.

  • Liaising with the US treasury team on all intercompany matters including invoicing and funding for settlement and loans.

  • Arranging and executing trades to ensure that we have adequate volumes available in each currency to meet requirements.

  • Working with AP / Payroll and other internal partners to ensure that payment files are processed on time and working on bank set up for new providers.

  • Working with many different banking partners to manage cash across EMEA.

  • The maintenance of all bank accounts and banking relationships across EMEA including mandate updates, regular reviews of charges, opening and closing of bank accounts and assisting the Treasury Manager with the assessment of in country requirements.

  • The set up and administration of users on all ebanking platforms as well as the weekly reconciliation of leavers and the removal of such accesses from ebanking platforms.

  • The rationalisation of bank accounts across the EMEA region.

  • Maintain all KYC, FATCA and Tax documents as required by regulatory bodies.

  • Attend and hold meetings with banks on a regular basis.

  • Monitor the group mailbox.

  • Ensure that records are appropriately maintained.

  • Working closely with internal and external auditors.

  • Assisting on all major change projects within each area.

  • Maintenance of the Integrity platform.


Person Specification/Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years+ operational finance / treasury / accounting experience.

  • Excellent spoken and written English

  • Team player with experience of managing improvements - desired
