Team Background:

The CEM Middle Office Project Team is responsible for a multitude of projects spanning the below areas across Fixed Income, Macro rates, FX and Credit business lines:

• Strategic business-driven initiatives
• New products or new business initiative reviews
• Industry initiatives
• Regulatory driven initiatives
• Regulatory survey
• Operational efficiency & automation initiatives
• Control governance

As part of the role you will need to effectively partner with numerous teams such as FO (Trading, Sales, and business management), Legal, Compliance, Middle Office, Back Office and IB wide PMO teams on a daily basis.

Role Description:

• Drive and execute projects focused on new business development, operational efficiencies, scalability and regulatory requirements
• Coordinate and collaborate across multiple front to back teams to capture and document requirements
• Perform cost benefit analysis to propose optimum operating model to the business
• Drive working groups for multiple projects and manage stakeholder engagement at senior level
• Review and interpret regulatory guidelines
• Design appropriate operating models to implement efficient procedures and processes
• Documentation of operating controls, workflows and roles and responsibilities
• Test management and coordination
• Explore intelligent automation opportunities

Required Experience & Qualities

• Bachelor's degree is required
• Excellent project management skills & a track record in delivering complex projects on behalf of Front Office / Operations / Technology
• At least 2 years of experience working in change environment for Financial Services Industry
• Experience in managing multiple demanding stakeholders with effective communication skills preferred
• Strong Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Product knowledge of Fixed Income or Credit business is an advantage
• Experience in Regulatory change management is an advantage
• A strong sense of ownership and responsibility with quick grasp of technical issues
• A self-motivated individual with ability to work independently
