Redstone Commodity Search are working with an international steel trading house looking to hire a Futures Steel Trader to join the commercial team in Singapore.

Key Responsibilities / Tasks

• Responsible for/In charge of developing future strategies for steel trading business and their application
• Responsible for running a proprietary derivatives book speculating on steel and scrap futures
• Perform independent macro and fundamental analysis on China and International Steel markets
• Use derivative tools to help the Asia billet trading team manage risk and produce paper/physical strategies
• Reports into Director, Steel Trading

Key Qualifications / Experience

• 3+ years of quantitative trading experience in high-frequency trading of one or more futures
• Entrepreneurial and self-motivated
• Pro-active thinker with ability to spot problems before they arise
• Background includes physical trading experience
• Based in Singapore
