This is an exciting opportunity to join a pioneering player in the digital asset space as the first technical hire for their Asia business.
Working with the Trading Systems engineering team, you will contribute to the design, development, and support of real-time systems for the digital asset trading platform. You should adopt a proactive approach in identifying improvements that are vital to the efficiency and sustainability of the trading system. As a lead engineer, you will be involved in developing the architecture for both the current and future state of the trading infrastructure, as well as providing technical guidance and advice to team-mates. You will also be engaging with business stakeholders in Asia to understand the needs, develop the necessary requirements and specifications to support the implementation of the exchange.
You should have at least 10 years of experience developing trading systems with C++ in a Linux environment, including working on matching engines and FIX protocols. You are comfortable with low-latency, multi-threaded development and design. A deep understanding of networking protocols and programming with low-level socket APIs will be required for the role. Ideally, you should also have some experience leading a small high-performing team of engineers.
