This is a marketing support role at senior Associate level with a significant amount of customer facing time particularly at Assistant Treasurer level. The role involves daily interaction with internal product offices, risk and compliance departments.

To provide transaction and marketing support in connection with the delivery of corporate and investment banking products provided by MUFG Group to meet pre-identified and new customer needs.
To prepare customer call reports following meetings and conference calls to ensure accurate record keeping and to ensure there is thorough follow up using the Salesforce system for opportunity monitoring and closing.
To be closely involved in transaction reporting for marketing and credit monitoring purposes, and to prepare timely Event Memos for senior management for early warning heads up for major M&A situations or credit problems.
To be closely involved in the preparation and submission of credit applications from a business promotion point of view and to be responsible for all linked processes including liquidity applications, compliance documentation/ KYC, and overall quality control.
To have a key role in the organisation of internal Deal Screening materials with a focus on the MUFG business case and returns, using MUFG RORA methodology.
To diligently update client records on the bank systems and liaise with middle and back office to ensure this is done.
To prepare marketing materials in conjunction with Product Offices for pitch books at customer meetings.
To have a significant involvement in Account Planning for the customers managed in the team to ensure that cross sell is effectively achieved and monitored.
To assist with general projects as they may arise as directed by Senior Management.
Experience in a corporate banking marketing or credit department would be beneficial
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Functional / Technical Competencies:
Must be numerate. Credit skills would be an advantage.
Good written and spoken English essential.
Education / Qualifications:
Degree level education (ideally in business, accounting, economics or legal) and/or equivalent experience.
