Life Reinsurance Operational Risk Manager

Salary: £65,000 - £90,000 per annum + 20%-30% bonus

Location: Central London

Permanent, full-time

HFG has partnered with a life reinsurer who is looking for an operational risk manager based in Central London

The individual who has in experience of operational risk and life insurance will have the opportunity to lead oversight of the risk framework throughout the firm.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement operational risk management framework and policies

- Delivering advice on risk management requirements to internal and external stakeholders

- Setting up reporting to oversee control and risk results

- Communicating with a variety of stakeholders

- Continuously improve solutions to emerging operational risks



Key requirements:

- Strong operational risk management experience

- Experience using Risk Management framework tools (Scenario analysis, Event reviews and Control Assessments)

- Strong communication skills

- Life Insurance market experience

- Project/change experience

- Reinsurance market experience (desirable but not essential)
