Our client is a single-family office looking to grow its investment team covering indirect and direct investments globally across Equities, Fixed Income, Hedge-funds, Private Equity, Private Credit and Real-Estate.
Your mission and contribution
As Investment Associate Real-Estate and Private Credit, you will be working alongside the Real-Estate and PC Managing Director to manage and grow a Real-Estate and Private debt portfolio composed of 70% of funds and 30% of direct investments.
As such the Investment Associate will be:
80% of the time on indirect investments:
Performing quantitative and qualitative due diligence on proposed Private Credit and Real Estate fund investments
Co-ordinating as necessary with external advisers and counsel for the preparation of the investment opportunities documents
Monitoring the development and performance of the Fund portfolio
Meeting with underlying funds managers
20% of the time on direct investments:
Supporting transaction work from sourcing to closing
Helping with financial modelling and quantitative due diligence
Monitoring the development and performance of the Principal Investment portfolio
Travel is expected to represent between 20% and 25% of the work time.
3 to 5 years of experience in a quantitative analytical role in M&A, real-estate or private credit investment
Working experience in a Tier 1 investment bank, private equity fund, or established family office
Experience in Principal Investing, joint ventures and direct investments preferrable
Analytical mindset with a high attention to detail
Proficient financial modelling skills (asset class specific)
Working understanding of adjacent private capital investment strategies, such as private equity and their return drivers
Fluent English and French
