About The Role
A key function of the Client Services Associate's role is the ability to deal confidently with Financial Advisors (FAs) and their clients in a high volume, time critical environment.
The successful candidate will support a team of 3 financial planners whose business is primarily focused on managing retirement wealth within SMSFs.
Responsibilities
Arranging establishment and ongoing administrative management of SMSFs, super fund, pension and investment Wrap accounts
Provide outstanding service and administrative support to MSWM clients on phone, face to face and in electronic communications
Client on-boarding, including preparation of Account Documentation, creation of client record in MSWM systems, arranging relevant sign-offs from branch management and liaison with Operations team to ensure timely and accurate creation of account.
Arrange and assist with client asset transfers, including CHESS sponsorship, off-market, broker to broker and issuer transfer of securities
Arranging rollover of clients' external super fund and pension accounts
Sending policy applications to insurance providers
Authorise access and respond to client queries regarding MSWM Website.
Liaise with back office and share registries regarding client and FA enquiries
Coordinate client seminars, conferences and presentations as required by Adviser team
Maintain account files and undertake regular follow-up on missing documents.
Process and monitor stock settlements, including follow up with clients regarding outstanding funds.
Participate in department cross-training as required.
Coordinate Initial Public Offering allocations and applicable client documentation.
Obtaining information on clients' existing external super fund, UK pension and insurance provider accounts.

Qualifications:
Key Requirements
Technical/ Specialist Skills & Experience
Well-developed IT literacy, database and analytical skills
XPlan experience highly desirable
Business/Industry knowledge/competencies
Knowledge of financial markets and the financial planning industry and particularly SMSFs
Understanding of compliance and legal requirements within MSWM
Personal Attributes / Interpersonal Skills
Excellent communication and influencing skills
Ability to work under pressure and to tight timeframes within a team
Goal-oriented with demonstrated drive and initiative
Qualifications/Experience Required
Finance, Business or Economics degree well regarded but not essential.
Recognised industry studies preferred but not essential
Minimum work experience required for this role
Financial Planning administrative experience essential.
Experience within a broking environment highly desirable.
