Godliman is looking for an enthusiastic Trader to join one of the largest UK asset owners, with responsibility for helping manage execution of trades across Equities, Bonds, FX, and Derivatives globally.

Role

1. The role will be mainly responsible for the following:
2. Helping execute trades to achieve best price within set parameters.
3. Monitoring execution is in line with the best execution policy at all times
4. Help analyse and monitor electronic/ algo execution channels across asset classes to help ensure consistent and strong execution outcomes
5. Maintain and improve relationships with sell-side trading desks to improve liquidity access and trade execution
6. Assist other traders as necessary

Skills

1. Ideally have between 2-5 years' experience in a trading function from either the buy side or sell side, 
2. Strong quantitative aptitude and IT skills preferably with some coding experience;
3. The candidate should be a proven self-starter with a strong willingness to develop trading skills across asset classes;
4. We are looking for a team player who is enthusiastic, with a good work ethic and flexible approach;
5. Knowledge of electronic/algo execution, program trading and a good understanding of financial markets would be a plus;
