We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Senior Manager, Balance Sheet Optimisation - HSBC Insurance.
The secretary of Group Balance Sheet Committee (GSBC), supporting the GBSC monthly/weekly meetings. Key tasks include preparing and coordinating meeting agenda with key stakeholders, drafting meeting minutes, summarizing and consolidating meeting materials
Support tactical strategies for optimized usage and consumption of capital, both at global and at local levels, allowing for interplay between Economic Capital and Regulatory Capital as well as the introduction of more effective Asset & Liability Management (ALM), risk management and investment management techniques
Quarterly production of real world Economic Scenarios Generator (ESG) and support the technical ESG calibration and validation methodology provided by Moody's Analytics
Regular production of ALM Risk Management Information (MI)
Support development of the Group Insurance Asset & Liability Management (ALM) strategy, objectives, governance and execution plans
Prepare presentation packs and draft papers for senior management meetings
Solid years of experience in life insurance companies or consultancy firms
Strong influencing, communication and leadership skills and a proven ability to lead group wide processes and work with international and virtual teams
Experience on project lead and of project implementation
Experience of Solvency II, knowledge of IFRS17 and Hong Kong local regulatory solvency requirements
Strong quantitative and analytical skills including ability to think outside the box
Fluent in English
