They are now on the search for an SRE to join their team based in Amsterdam to contribute delivering on both on-premise and public cloud platforms. As an SRE you will be expected deploy and manage Kubernetes clusters and help other technology teams to implement new solutions.

Responsibilities

• Freedom to use your programming skills (Python, Golang, C++, etc) to create new solutions tailored to the trading platforms
• Work with continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines and automate with Jenkins, ansible, and terraform
• Constantly upgrade methods on deploying and managing kubernetes clusters
• High production delivery for monitoring the management of the systems
• Swiftly react and resolve technical problems instantly that may occur via the platform
• Continuously provide and implement new ideas and technologies to maintain a high performing environment
• Flexibility to work with different teams across the firm, from trading, software, to data analytics

Experience Required

• Ability to work with an on-premise platform with Kubernetes
• Have an infrastructure as code mindset - GitOps development etc
• Happy to programme/code when required with Python or Golang
• Public cloud platform experience with AWS
• Good monitoring experience with Prometheus or Grafana
• Good experience troubleshooting
• Ability to work independently
• Excellent communication and the ability to articulate technical solutions at in depth at a high level
• The ability to multitask and handle priorities in collaboration with other teams
