The QS JaneCore team is looking for a skilled developer to build out the best in class, cross asset risk management library. This library provides the bank's implementation of front office risk calculations, scenarios and VaR. The team supports many of the regulatory programs such as CCAR and FRTB. Key clients include accounting xVA for managing the banks counterparty credit risk and bank's implementation of the Internal Market Model for determining the Risk Weighted Assets that the bank must hold. The role provides an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with an excellent team of experienced developers and modellers. The group uses a variety of programming languages including C#, C++ and Python. The role will have the opportunity to influence the future technology direction for the team. We are looking for candidates who have an interest in derivative pricing and value the ability to work in a technically complex environment. Good C# or C++ developer experience.
.NET C# or C++ skills required.
Python knowledge would be beneficial.
Experience in the finance sector is preferred.
Experience of risk systems and risk calculations would be an advantage.
Good degree in mathematical, engineering or scientific subject would be expected.
Results-oriented individual with excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
