OVERVIEW The Analytics & Data Platforms group is responsible for firm's investment analytics data needs. While out engineering arm builds the analytics platforms and tools, our data operations team supports the day to day operation of these data platforms.
The successful candidate will be working in a dynamic team, interact with our business users, collect their data requirements; onboarding new data onto our platform; setup ingestion and data quality check; monitor the data pipeline and curate the data to business needs.
Requires in-depth knowledge and expertise in their own job discipline and working knowledge of related disciplines
Leads projects or work streams within broader projects
Accountable for work of self and sometimes others, provides process and standards advice in area of specialty
Works independently, receives minimal guidance
Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience
ROLE SUMMARY AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Defines complex or enterprise-wide business needs for new and/or enhanced products, services, or optimized business processes
Works closely and develops relationships with a variety of senior-level internal and external business partners to ensure that all business requirements are understood, documented, and met
Ensures a lean agile mindset is applied across assigned business domain or portfolio
Works on initiatives of moderate complexity, size, and impact
Demonstrates knowledge of product/flows within assigned domain
Can articulate business needs and translate them into technology solutions
Decisions show a focus on current and future business priorities, together with fiscal responsibility
Typically requires 5+ years of relevant experience
Financial knowledge and experience in the industry a must
Experience in working with business users
Experience in SQL/knowledge of relational databases and concepts
Data analysis and support background
EQ or FI security analytics domain specific data knowledge a plus
