We are currently recruiting a Senior Frontend Engineer (JavaScript, React) for a top tier global organization based in Switzerland with hands-on front-end development expertise in JavaScript and React. You should be able to take ownership of multiple projects and work with cross-functional teams. You are expected to be a hands-on developer with front end system development expertise & being able to work as an individual contributor.

Responsibilities

• Developing back office applications
• Providing support to operations & production activities (includes Credit Risk and Market Risk functional domains)
• Support compliance division
• Working closely with development and support teams in Swiss and SG ensuring the quality of mission critical Risk & Compliance Systems wherever possible

Requirement

• Hands on developer with front end system development expertise & being able to work as an individual contributor
• Expertise in modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries (React.js, Redux, Mobx)
• Expertise in CSS development with/without pre-processors
• Familiarity with HTML5 apis (canvas, svg, localStorage...)
• Familiarity with progressive web applications, service workers, long term caching

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Flowable (or other Workflow solution) would be a plus
• Familiarity in Continuous Development/Continuous Integration
• Knowledge in Git

The ideal candidate must be located in Lausanne or willing to commute!
