● Create and take the financial product(s) from whiteboard to implementation, taking into account financing terms, market constraints, and the financial well-being of customers. ● Work closely with senior management and other team members to build financing and capital markets relationships, and subsequently be central in managing those relationships. ● Develop and update detailed pitch/marketing materials for financing counterparties. ● Coordinate and drive due diligence and internal review processes. ● Develop and facilitate requests for proposals and competitive bids for outsourced capital markets and financial product initiatives. ● In time, hire subsequent members of the financial products team and manage these. ● Review and assist in development of transaction documents alongside the Legal team. ● Coordinate across Product, Treasury, Finance, and Credit/Risk teams to drive Capital Markets initiatives. ● Support the regulatory application process in terms of information, documentation, and financial product and risk modeling.
● You will ideally possess at leat six years of relevant exposure to debt capital markets at an ABS issuer (incl. online lending platforms), investment bank (FIG/FinTech advisory, structured finance, ABS banking/trading role), alternative lender, hedge fund, asset manager, rating agency, or law firm ● Be able to demonstrate recent experience structuring and executing ABS financing transactions, includingwarehouse facilities, loan sales/forward flow, and/or securitizations. ● Offer a creative and initiative-taking personae, capable of owning workstreams from inception through to completion. ● Be a clear communicator with excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
