The Trader is responsible for trading Equities, Fixed Income & FX for Citi Investment Management (CIM). CIM is the in-house Discretionary Portfolio Management team within Citi Private Bank. The overall objective of this role is to execute tradesand achieve performance targets while adhering to the Best Execution framework. This role will be based in Hong Kong.

Responsibilities:
  • Trade Equities, Fixed Income & FXand achieveperformance targets
  • Highlight investment opportunities to Portfolio Managers, Analysts
  • Analyze Trade Cost Analysis reports for Equities & Fixed Income
  • Establish and maintain key relationships to deliver trades to the desk
  • Appropriately assess risk/reward of transactions when trading; demonstrating proper consideration for the firm's reputation & best execution
  • Work in close partnership with control functions such as Legal, Compliance, Risk andAudit in order to ensure appropriate governance and control infrastructure
  • Build a culture of responsible finance, governance and supervision, strong controls and ethics
  • Obtain and maintain all registrations/licenses which are required for your role, within the appropriate timeframe

Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of experience in a related role
  • Strong knowledge of Asian related Equities and Fixed Income (Asia USD) asset classes from an asset management organizationperspective
  • Advanced analytical and numerical competency
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication in English
  • Effective interpersonal skills to develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to excel in a fast paced working environment
  • Knowledge of Bloomberg, Order Management System, trading algorithms, Excel

  • Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
