Our client is a highly regarded Australian Private Equity fund that focuses on investing in businesses requiring transformation or turnaround. Their investment mandate is across Australia, New Zealand and South East Asia across a broad spectrum of sectors with flexible deal structures. As an established Fund with capital to deploy, they have created a new role in the team due to growth and an active investment pipeline. 

As a Senior Associate/Associate Director you will play a key role across investment analysis, recommendations and execution as well as working closely with management teams across the portfolio to implement transformation strategies and change disciplines. You will work closely with the senior team to build out your investing experience and will assist in mentoring and coaching less experienced members of the team on transaction work. 

Successful applicants will have ideally spent 4-8 years in a transactional M&A role in an investment bank, leading corporate advisory firm, management consulting, corporate development or similar investment role. Complementing your technical experience will also be an ability to build rapport and meaningful working relationships with portfolio companies and management teams. You will be confident and assertive in your communication style but will display humility and empathy in your interactions. This is an excellent opportunity to gain operational experience with portfolio companies and work hand in hand with businesses to ensure they reach their full potential.
