The Securitized Products Finance team is accountable for the global origination, structuring and execution of all primary Asset Backed Securitization offerings. Other responsibilities include providing warehouse and repo facilities, asset valuation, portfolio strategy/ALM, M&A advisory and asset disposition services to our clients. Many different asset types are covered in the group including autos, credit cards, student loans, aircraft, railcar, timeshare, triple-net lease, drug royalty, music royalties, insurance products, residential and commercial real estate mortgage products, equipment, intellectual property, small business loans, etc.
Key Responsibilities - Work in a team oriented environment within Securitized Products Finance as well as with other groups within Securitized Products - Trading, Sales and Research
- Collaborate closely with divisions and groups outside of Fixed Income such as IBD/GMSG, Alternative Investments, Private Banking, M&A and Financial Institutions Group to assist in securitization, valuation or disposition services
- Exposure to all stages of a Mortgage securitization including pitching, structuring, negotiation, execution, and closing of securitization
- Analyze different structuring alternatives and help advise clients on a solution(s)
- Develop marketing materials related to securitization offerings for banking, trading, sales forces, and investors
- Multi-task across different projects
- Monitor, manage and analyze Mortgage market conditions and provide weekly feedback
- Analyze credit and underwriter risk in an effort to gain internal approval for a transaction
- Research develop and build pitch book presentations for potential new business.

- Equivalent work experience of 1 year in Securitized Products Finance or its areas of focus (Transportation, Mortgages, Esoterics, Consumer, or Real Estate) is essential!
- Basic client knowledge of key clients in sector
- Outstanding experience in the research and creation of pitch books
- Highly motivated and creative individuals who have proven academic achievement
- Proven ability to work independently and as a member of a team
- Intelligent, driven and hardworking applicant with consistent leadership involvement in school activities and athletics, and interest in the financial sector
- Enjoys the ins-and-outs of the market, but also loves to work in an Investment Banking and Capital Markets culture
