Your team You'll be working in the UBS Wealth Management UK Financial Crime Prevention team in London. Our team is responsible for risk management and control activities, which span across the financial crime field and include money laundering prevention, anti-bribery and corruption, sanctions compliance, and Know Your Client obligations.
Our team is responsible for devising, implementing and maintaining a robust financial crime risk management framework, which helps UBS to adequately manage its legal, regulatory and reputational risk and ensures that instances of known or suspected criminality are identified and reported to UK law enforcement in a timely manner.
experience of working in a financial crime prevention (or other risk management) function within a regulated financial institution
knowledge of financial crime laws and regulations applicable to the UK
an interest in international and current affairs and emerging markets
good working knowledge and minimum of five years of experience in KYC and due diligence processes
ability to articulate clear guidance to client-facing staff on financial crime issues and risks
ability to deliver to tight deadlines, analyze problems and make appropriate recommendations
well-developed inter-personal skills
language skills are an advantage
