Assist with the annual compliance work plan and conduct compliance testing, assessment and reviews on the business and outsourced service provides (based on the Group LCS framework) to provide reasonable assurance to the board of directors and senior management on the compliance with regulatory obligations
Provide responsive, sound, coherent and consistent compliance advice and interpretation (of the PSA, SFA and PDPA) and provide recommendations on regulations, policies, products and business initiatives
Handle and escalate complaints, keep abreast with regulatory changes, update compliance registers, monitor key regulatory obligations, and manage and monitor new regulatory changes and update the SOPs to comply with regulatory requirements and DBS Group standards
Work closely with internal stakeholders (within the digital program business and Group LCS) and external parties (including regulators).
Provide coverage and support to other team members such as market surveillance matters
Assist in internal and external audits and regulatory inspections, secretarial support for business committees, and perform any other duties assigned by the Head, Regulations and Compliance
Degree in Law, Finance, Accountancy, Business or equivalent
At least 3 years of relevant experience in a capital market services intermediary (including a brokerage or an exchange) or a financial services regulatory authority
CAMS or ICA certification would be viewed upon favourably; working knowledge of AML/CFT matters would be highly advantageous
Knowledge of trading in an organised market and/or exchange traded products would be looked favourably upon
Ability to multitask and keen to learn, take initiative and go beyond the scope of work
