Our client, a global technology growth impact investment fund are currently looking to hire a Head of Compliance to join their London team. The fund, which is currently going through a growth phase, have significant capital to deploy into impact driven technology businesses. They have a number of new acquisitions lined up for the coming year - making it a very exciting time to join. As the Head of Compliance you will primarily be responsible for the European LLP along with more general compliance throughout the fund. You will also tasked with overseeing and managing the compliance function for a number of global entities. As this is a newly created position, you will be immediately be afforded plenty of autonomy to help mould and develop the role.
This a high profile appointment within the fund and is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with experience of working within the investment management space to really make an impact and become and integral member of the team.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Regulatory compliance and financial crime prevention leadership
  • Acting as the MLRO for the LLP and any other appropriate entity
  • Overseeing GDPR obligations for relevant entities
  • Leading on all necessary investment compliance
  • Implementation of effective policies and procedures across the fund
  • Providing advice to senior management in regards to relevant compliance and prevention of financial crime
  • Global compliance monitoring support for the business and the board
YOUR PROFILE:
  • Previous compliance leadership within the investment management space
  • Experience of working across a global remit would be advantageous
  • Have previously held SM16 / 17 responsibilities
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence others
