Group CDO has established a team of specialists to facilitate the oversight of data strategy and data management plans across the whole of Credit Suisse Group. The function comprises of Group Data Governance, Group Data Quality & Control, Group Data Strategy & Architecture, Group Data Usage & Analytics, Group Referential & Transactional Domain Expertise functions and Group CDO Execution Board Function. These areas will oversee and support Divisional and Functional CDOs in the execution of data management
The successful candidate will work within Group CDO Data Architecture function, reporting to the Data Architecture Lead. The candidate will be responsible for supporting the Divisional and Functional CDO areas in developing their data architecture in line with the Group CDO strategic objectives.
The individual will also help to manage the capability agenda for Data Architecture, facilitating identification of Data Architecture related requirements across the Enterprise Data Toolset and executing them in partnership with the Group IT organisation.
Key elements of the role will include:
- Coordinate with divisional/functional CDO teams to develop their target data architecture and simplify data sourcing
- Build positive partnership with the divisions and functions and apply challenge if required to ensure Group CDO Policies, Standards and Frameworks are adhered to
- Produce periodic Data Architecture metrics and supporting material for various Data Architecture forums
- Work with Group IT using agile methodology to drive Data Architecture related Enterprise Data Toolset improvements and facilitate the change required across CDO teams

- At least 5-6 years' experience within Investment / Private Banking
- Proven track record of working within a data related environment, particularly one involving and delivering change
- Result oriented, proactive approach to managing workload, taking ownership of tasks and issues and seeing them through to completion within allotted timeframes
- Comfort with ambiguity; ability to effectively take concepts to pragmatic solutions
- Ability to apply a logical and detail oriented analytical thought process to resolving issues
- Strong communication (written, verbal, presentation, interpersonal) skills; Experience of distilling key messages for senior partners is essential
- Attitude to challenge, influence and drive progress working with groups with differing priorities
- Phenomenal teammate, working across a broad set of peers and as part of a distributed team
- Hardworking, ability to learn and perform in a fast paced environment
Desirable: - Domain expertise in one of the following areas - Private Banking, Risk, Compliance or Finance
- Familiarity with Enterprise Data Management Toolset (Collibra, DQIM, IDQ) is a plus!
