The Role Responsibilities Strategy
Develop and drive key Wealth Management client journeys aligned to core client needs for growing wealth, retirement & legacy planning
Responsible for creating and aligning the underlying program delivery plans in line with Bank's overall Wealth Management strategy
Must align to the Bank's strategic technology frameworks
Responsible for the ongoing management of the portfolio to ensure the strategic outcomes are achieved
Must have the required experience, knowledge and personal integrity to formalize appropriate strategies and make informed decisions to manage the budget, motivate staff, provide guidance and deliver the expected outcomes
Must devise and execute a resourcing strategy in 2021 that shifts the delivery from expensive onshore and outsourced staff to an efficient and lower cost mix of in-house onshore and offshore staff
Ensuring the interests of all involved 'Client Journeys & Engagement' business stakeholders are adequately covered by the delivery plans
Ensure the key focus areas of the delivery remain on Portfolio reporting, Suitability, Trade capture & Order management
Maintain accuracy and provide transparency in the proactive stakeholder updates and meetings
Participate in transition and change management while also ensuring that business objectives are maintained throughout the transition
Ensure that the changes delivered by the program are effectively integrated into the business
Streamline the program delivery processes for regular and cyclical releases under the agile model
Modify the program delivery processes to align with an agile working model; to enhance efficiency and productivity of people and procedures
Receive and review regular detailed reports on the program from the program/project managers and ensure timely decisions are made
Responsible for establishing an effective mechanism for ensuring regular and transparent dialogues with vendors are maintained; to promote teamwork, problem solving and risk sharing
Oversee and optimise the program plans from start to end, involving deadlines, milestones and processes
Ensure controllable and repeatable processes are established and followed that deliver high quality outcomes and adhere to the Bank's delivery framework / regulatory commitments; while achieving a strong delivery velocity
People and Talent
Provide leadership to the functional verticals to ensure common goals and vision is shared across the program teams, hereby fostering teamwork
Develop and promote talent within the teams, specifically with the newly formed offshore teams
Responsible for hiring, training and being a motivating mentor to the program leadership team, which will include the program/project managers and other stream leads.
Supervise program / project managers / scrum masters involved to provide feedback and resolve complex problems by way of 'Leading by example'
Effective at building lasting networks by leveraging his/her influencing and negotiating skills
Encourage cross skilling of resource skillsets across teams located at both onshore and offshore locations
Manage the program risks/issues management forum and apply change, risk and resource management principles
Be aware of the broader perspective and always keep a bird's eye view of the program to be able to effectively & holistically resolve risks and issues
Guide the team to ensure everyone plays a part in early identification of risks and issues along with their mitigation plans
Maintain a clear risks and issues register (or any other tool as mandated by the Bank) and perform early intervention to high risks or issues that may require decisions from senior management
Ensure program operations and activities adhere to Bank's Service Delivery Framework, guidelines and internal policies
Effective at brokering relationships with stakeholders that are both within and outside the program
Regular and accurate representation of the program statuses and activities at Program Steering Committees and various other governance forums
Manage program financials by accurate forecasting, monthly adjustments, and creating monthly spend reports to be presented at regular stakeholder governance forums. Control the financial risk allowance
Apply change, risk and resource management principles when needed
Ensure programs clarity records are maintained with accuracy and as a single source of all program reporting

Minimum 10+yrs exp
Exposure into Project Management, Planning, Monitoring, etc
Working exposure into Service Oriented Architectures (SOA), etc.
Well versed in Scrum/Agile methodologies
Certifications are plus - PMP, Prince 2, ITIL, etc
Strong senior Stakeholder Management
Provide close vendor management for all vendors that are engaged as partners to the program, along with all contract negotiations
Promote a healthy delivery focused culture within the program teams by way of delegation and accountability-based role distribution
