Risk Professionals | Quality Assurance

APRA has an opportunity for a risk professional to support quality outcomes for supervisors and delivering APRA's quality assurance framework. We are seeking motivated and experienced industry professionals to join our Quality Assurance team.

In the role you will:

• establish effective and collaborative relationships with key stakeholders across APRA to support effective quality assurance outcomes;
• support senior management in the strategic development of quality assurance across APRA;
• develop knowledge of technical, market and industry issues that may impact regulated entities and APRA's supervisory approach;
• maintain a detailed knowledge of supervisory guidance and systems in order to provide effective advice to end users and support training;
• assist with the ongoing design, development and implementation of the quality assurance framework and support infrastructure in a way that is efficient and effective;

To be successful in this role you will have strong communication and stakeholder management skills as well as the ability to work collaboratively with large stakeholder groups to achieve the required outcomes.

Demonstrated experience in identifying and assessing risks, and developing effective solutions to address them will be essential along with the ability to apply analytical and communication skills (written and interpersonal) in a collaborative team environment. Tertiary qualifications in finance-related disciplines (economics, finance, law, accounting, commerce or any other relevant discipline) is highly desired.
