Alvarium is seeking to hire a Senior Analyst / Junior Associate to work alongside its Directors and Managing Directors in support of the firm's core direct investment activities. The position offers a tremendous opportunity for a high-energy candidate who is a motivated self-starter. The candidate will be an integral member of the investment team and will have the opportunity to play an important role in helping build and shape how Alvarium's investing platform develops over time. As a member of lean deal teams, this successful candidate will participate in all aspects of the investment process including evaluating, executing, closing, and monitoring investment opportunities, in addition to interacting with internal and external constituents including portfolio companies, partner investors, other Alvarium's lines of business, and the firm's investment committee. The Analyst/Associate will have exposure to a broad array of creative financial structures defining private equity and real estate investments. Key job responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

- Conducting due diligence for potential investments, including market research and
analysis, review of technology / industry trends, participating in management
meetings, financial modeling and valuation (including LBO and DCF analysis), and
reference calls
- Performing KPI analysis on potential investment opportunities (e.g., evaluating unit
economics and performing cohort analysis, if applicable)
- Drafting and presenting investment memos and additional written materials
including portfolio reviews and operational updates
- Assisting with monitoring portfolio companies and internal reporting
- Taking leadership roles in analyzing specific investment opportunities, investment
sectors and/or geographies
- Performing market analyses to generate potential new business leads, preparing
meeting materials and participating actively in meetings with prospective clients
- Tracking industry statistics and maintaining internal databases including deal flow,
deal KPIs, and portfolio operating metrics

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate must:
- Have 3-5 years of experience in private equity, venture capital and/or experience in
a related field such as investment banking or management consulting
- Be a top academic performer from a top tier institution
- Possess a strong quantitative background, strong analytical skills, and excellent
verbal and written communication skills, particularly with respect to presenting
investment theses and complex financial data and concepts
- Highly proficient in excel and powerpoint
- Be comfortable in an unstructured environment which values initiative, creativity,
maturity, collaboration and poise - Be highly organized and able to work in a selfdirected
fashion and manage multiple projects within defined deadlines
