We're working with a high profile, European mid-market private equity fund who are looking to grow their London team with an Associate. The fund has an outstanding track record, and a strong brand name. This is an opportunity to start your investing career in one of the top funds in the market. With an extremely flexible investment mandate and the remit to invest in a wide range of scenarios the team support businesses through a range of strategies. This will give you exposure to deals from the growth capital space to special situations. There are few better opportunities to build you skill set as an investor. The team is small and dynamic, and by nature more entrepreneurial. It is looking for an ambitious and hands-on Investment Associate to join the team in London and contribute to all aspects of the business.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Appraisal of investment opportunities - deal filtering and initial assessment
  • Preparation of investment memorandum and financial model
  • Transaction execution: overseeing due diligence workstreams and documentation
  • Portfolio responsibilities with the support of senior colleagues

YOUR PROFILE:
  • Associate/Consultant level experience in a Blue-chip strategy consulting firm
  • Excellent technical, commercial and financial modelling skills
  • A good understanding of, and transaction experience within, the mid-market with an affinity to UK SME's
  • A top tier academic background
  • An entrepreneurial mindset, with a willingness to get hands-on
  • Individuals comfortable operating with a high level of responsibility and autonomy
  • Down-to-earth personalities who care about culture, with high levels of energy, enthusiasm and emotional intelligence.
