Job Responsibilities:
  • Leverage technological advancement and applicable tools for process automation, revenue analysis, financial reporting and day-to-day operation to ensure company-wide adherence to efficiency
  • Keep track on the integration of systems, projects and developments associated with market data compliance and revenue, act on any internal and external changes to ensure operation stability
  • Develop and implement effective compliance framework by adopting new technology or measures on scalable market data audits and compliance programmes with minimal disruption while achieving effectiveness and meeting market standards
  • Translate massive datasets and information collected from the market or through audits into meaningful reports and systematic analysis
  • Manage internal and external stakeholders in relation to data compliance, deliver audit findings and reports independently, reach resolutions with rectification suggestions to auditees on a timely manner
  • Take an active role in communicating market data guidelines and requirements to licensees including exchanges participants, information and technology vendors for risk assessment or potential changes according to business and market development
  • Strategically tackle and resolve unauthorized use and dissemination of market data by licensees or non-licensees
  • Assist management in ad-hoc projects as well as cross-department initiatives
Job Requirements:
  • Qualified accountant or university graduate in relevant disciplines with HKICPA/CPA/ACCA designation
  • Minimum 8 years in finance, compliance or equivalent with experience at supervisory level
  • Strong understanding of financial industry and products as well as and data business
  • Experience in data compliance and IT auditing, a working familiarity with and willingness to embrace cutting-edge technological solutions
  • Highly independent and detail-oriented, ability to prioritize work with a set timeframe also the flexibility to shift gears
  • Strong work ethics, critical thinking and analytical skills are crucial
  • High proficiency of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua), strong demand in communication and presentation skills
  • Proficient in MS Excel, MS Access, with basic programming knowledge such as Python, R
  • Experience in project management such as RPA, VBA preferred.
