The Project Governance and Risk Executive is responsible for ensuring the governance of standards across all IT projects within the portfolio. He/She will work closely with internal stakeholders to identify non compliances in projects and assess risks, as well as to develop effective risk governance and strategies to promote stronger compliance culture and literacy in OCBC. He/She will also be involved in process improvement initiatives including testing of automation initiatives.

Responsibilities
1. Conduct periodic process compliance checks on projects to ensure adherence to process and standards.
2. Perform periodic risk assessments for PMO, coordinate responses on controls and ensure conformance to guidelines,
3. Conduct briefing and training initiatives under Governance team's purview when required as well as participate in risk forums and discussions.
4. Support internal PMO digital initiatives & testing. Tasks include preparation of test script, test casesand coordinating the testers and test event.
5. Involved in data analysis, data visualisation and dashboard design
6. Assist in the preparation of process / template revision quarterly exercise, along with impact-assessment analysis and obtaining buy-ins from respective stakeholders
7. Assist in general administrative duties within Governance team

Qualifications
Requirements
  • Good understanding of System Development Life Cycle process (SDLC) with some basic knowledge of Project Management
  • Able to multi-task and cope with change and diversity in a fast-paced environment
  • Possess a strong analytical and problem solving skills with excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Meticulous, highly organised, resourceful, self-motivated, result oriented with ability to work well independently or as a team is essential.
  • Skilled at managing stakeholder groups and balancing diplomacy and tact with assertiveness
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel & PowerPoint)
