What will you be doing? - Owning, developing and implementing detailed guidelines for the project delivery teams on Capital Allowances
- Owning the implementation and ongoing management of our Global Strategic Frameworks ensuring maximum value is realised
- Ensuring all policies in relation to statutory and regulatory requirements are adhered to relating to supplier payments and capex procurement
- Maximising Enhanced Capital Allowance recovery on all Capital Construction works aligned with Barclays Design Guidelines and Group Tax
- Capturing and communicating guidance to the project delivery teams to maximise recoveries across the Global Portfolio
- Providing Subject Matter Expert support to Group Tax for Audit and future capital projects documentation and year end HMRC process
- Monitoring timely closure of projects capitalisation via regional programme assurance teams linked to key Capital Projects controls
What we're looking for: - Degree qualification in relevant field. e.g. Commercial Management / Project Management/ Real Estate, or equivalent generalist/technical qualification or experience
- Commercial and Program/Project Management – practitioner level accreditation (e.g. PMI, Prince2, APM) or equivalent delivery experience
- Capability to work effectively within a team and excellent collaboration and influencing skills to be utilised within and outside the team
- Proficiency in using multiple sources of information to interpret and solve problems creatively and effectively in potentially complex situations
