Provide expertise/ input as IA deployment of capabilities like Robotics, Machine Learning, NLP/ NLG, Cognitive Agents, are prioritized, executed, and validated. Collaborate across enterprise to communicate automation initiatives strategically and plan for required cultural adjustments.
Managing various elements of the enterprise automation program (e.g., opportunity discovery, capability building, operating model, technology stack), working closely with Business/ Staff and Technology teams. Providing expertise and input as automation deployments are prioritized, executed, and validated. Working with business operations and functional organization senior leaders to gain buy-in for new ways of working
Managing up to 10 concurrent automation labs, rapidly implementing automation solutions across the enterprise. Managing the overall progress of the labs, reporting the status to program executives and impacted business leaders. Acting as a coach and mentor to direct reports and junior leaders. Identifying and resolving issues; escalating to senior executives as necessary. Establishing trustful relationships in the context of the initiatives and sustaining relationships for future assignments
Tracking and communicate initiative status to the IA program leadership and Steering Committee, along with deployment costs and value creation potential to ensure that deployments are within the allowed budget and the overall value creation goals are met
Collaborating with Communications & Change Management teams to communicate automation initiatives strategically and plan for required cultural adjustments
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering or related field; or equivalent work experience.
Experience building and implementing an Intelligent Automation (IA) strategy and roadmap across a large, diverse, global organization.
Extensive experience managing automation solutions delivery across multiple workstreams with varying timelines, priorities and complexities
Experience in driving systematic process improvement (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma)
Strong understanding of different technological development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and design techniques with ability to successfully lead regardless of approach
Structured thinker, effective communicator with excellent written communication skills. Ability to crisply articulate complex technical concepts to senior audiences with poise and confidence.
Ability to coach and train members within discovery, design and solution delivery teams, including conducting group and one to one training
Ability to drive IA workstreams in a program context with limited guidance
Sound business judgment to ensure organizational health aspirations are well integrated in performance improvement activities
Proven problem solving and analytical skills
Experience in managing ongoing automation initiatives using tools like Xceptor and Robotics Process Automation (vendors like Pega, Automation Anywhere, UiPath, BluePrism); liaise with technology and business teams in evaluation and implementation of efficiency opportunities
Experience in Analytics-based transformation through adoption of tools like Alteryx, Tableau and Qlik; drive value creation through automation of manual data preparation and reporting tasks; lead product development of interactive analytics
Working understanding of RPA/scripting or other types of tech-enabled process improvement
High performer in a line management position, with strong standing to be perceived as peer for most management levels
High level of energy and creativity, willingness to go the extra mile
