Role background

This Programme has been formed (which is being co-led by Group Treasury and Finance Change) to enable the client to comply with the Bank or England's (BoE) RAF requirements and to adopt and embed resolvability capability across the Group i.e. across many Global Businesses, Functions and HOST and in more than 10 countries. This Programme, must be able to achieve three main outcomes under the RAF:

1. Have adequate financial resources in resolution
2. Be able to continue doing business through resolution and restructuring
3. Be able to coordinate and communicate effectively internally and with the authorities and markets

The Programme Manager's role includes:

1. To provide the link between the three sub-workstreams of the Management, Governance and Communications in Resolution, reporting up to senior management on the workstreams, attending programme wide meetings
2. Lead the MGC team to ensure all reporting, RAID, programme plan and programme activities are completed.
3. Join-up the three sub-workstreams, chairing the fortnightly Working Group and team meetings, drawing out risks to delivery and ensuring there is a plan to address them.
4. Manage engaging with senior stakeholders across the three sub-workstreams
5. Maintain wider stakeholder engagement across the RAF programme to support with issue resolution/escalation, and horizon scanning to keep abreast of programme developments impacting sub-workstreams

Required Knowledge and Experience

• An experienced and established professional; a typical good candidate would have >10 years industry experience
• Experienced Programme Manager
• Previous RAF experience is desirable
• Experience within large change programmes
• Experience working with senior stakeholders
• Line management experience
• Knowledge of the wider regulatory context and trends in financial services
• Well rounded degree-level educational background
