The role is responsible for building, implementing and supporting the China Securities Trading Platform, liaising with third-party IT vendors and business to provide IT solution.

Responsibilities 

  •  Communicate with multiple stakeholders including various business units and technology teams in APAC and Global
  •  Design and develop the Web Portal for Trade Flow Management & Reconciliation
  •  Gather requirements for development team 
  •  Prepare system documentations such as user requirement, functional specification and user manual
  •  Conduct, manage and monitor system development and implementation
  •  Progress tracking of an implementation to meet deliverables
  •  Support production environment, assist in diagnosis and resolution of incidents, maintain systems' stability and integrity

     

    Essential Technical Knowledge/Skills

  •  3 - 5 years of work experience in a technology organization
  •  University qualification with IT Major
  •  Experience in web-based development
  •  Knowledge of Javascript including either the React or Vue web framework
  •  Knowledge of Python or Java for web server development
  •  Knowledge in agile methodology
  •  Excellent communication skills in English and Chinese (verbal and written)
  •  Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  •  Team player with great interpersonal skills

     

    Qualifications and Experience

  •  University qualification with IT Major
  •  Minimum 6 years working experience in Investment Banking with relevant exposure to support Equity Research business
  • Strong client management and interpersonal skills
  •  Strong problem solving and communication skills
  •  Self-motivated and ability to work with minimal supervision
