An established growth and buyout investor is looking to for an Investment Director to work on investments across the DACH region. They have offices in Berlin, Frankfurt and Zurich.
Our client is a growth capital investor with 20 years successful investment track record across the DACH region. With offices in Berlin, Frankfurt and Zürich the team are now launching a new fund to build on their deal-by-deal success. The strategy deepens their investment reach into the core sectors such as: Life Science, IT/Software, Mechanical engineering/Hardware, Food & Beverages. As part of their team expansion they are looking to hire an experienced Investment Director who will work closely with the Partners and wider team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Source and lead the execution of investment opportunities across the DACH region
  • Quantitative and qualitative investment analysis, diligence, structuring and negotiations through to closing
  • Work actively with the portfolio companies to drive value creation
  • Manage and mentor junior investment professionals
YOUR PROFILE:
  • Significant transaction experience in growth or small cap private equity
  • Meaningful operational exposure to actively guide portfolio companies
  • Previous exposure to the whole deal life cycle - from origination and analysis, structuring and negotiation through to closing of deals
  • Outstanding commercial judgement and intellectual curiosity
  • A passion to drive projects forward independently as well as a strong sense of entrepreneurship
  • Fluency in German & English
