What you will be responsible for As Credit Risk Analyst you will be
Managing Credit Risk related topics in State Street Bank International GmbH (SSBI GmbH), including oversight of the Credit Risk portfolio
Covering credit analyses of diverse portfolio including mutual and alternative funds structures, financial institutions, sovereigns and corporate bonds
Monitoring and reporting of market developments and analyzing impact on individual counterparts, sectors and overall credit portfolio; reviewing payment approval requests; investigating and resolving limit excesses
Supporting and coordinating policy, guideline and procedural updates including alignment of local with global credit policies, guidelines and procedures as well as local and global projects
Cooperating with specialists of broader ERM function of SSBI GmbH and State Street globally
Reviewing and analyzing regulatory environment including impact analysis on credit risk portfolio and processes

Education & Preferred Qualifications
Successfully completed Bachelor's and/or Master's degree, preferably in Finance, Business, Economics or a related field or an equivalent educational background
About 3-5 years of financial services experience within Credit Risk/Risk Management in large financial institutions, including emphasis on European fund/asset management industry and financial institutions
Sound knowledge in Capital Market products including Foreign Exchange, Treasury and Derivatives
Strong knowledge of German regulatory environment (MaRisk, EBA, CRR, Investment Act, etc.)
Project management experience preferred
Proficiency with MS Office applications, especially Power Point and Excel; standard database software knowledge (VBA) beneficial
Fluency in English and German, additional language skills are beneficial
