about the team

You will be part of the Credit Products Delivery Team under the Wholesale Lending Services division and this role reports in to the Head of Department. This team provides lending and trade finance execution support, and is responsible for facilitating and managing of the deal lifecycle from mandate through to execution. You will get the opportunity to work with various business units including Legal, Compliance, Credit and Front Office.

about the job

This is a 1 year contract role.

• Provide deal closing and client support
• Be the point of contact and escalation across end to end deal lifecycle including cross-border, offshore and onshore deal coordination
• Provide advice on the negotiation of legal agreements and status of transaction closing
• Undertake Transaction Management duties
• Coordination of legal documentation across all lending products
• Manage execution of credit facility letters and deal closing process
• Review client constitutional documents and conditions precedent/subsequent
• Prepare and coordinate deviations during negotiation process
• Perform gap analysis on non-standard documents for Legal Team
• Track process, metrics and requirements
• Query resolution
• Provide support for the LIBOR transformation project which includes coordination of legal document remediation process and escalate issues to the Project Team

skills and experience required

• Minimum Degree in a relevant discipline
• At least 5 years of experience in Credit Administration, Credit Execution and/or Transaction Management
• Strong credit and documentation knowledge in Lending products/agreements
• Understanding of banking products and processes
• Excellent communications and stakeholder management skills
• Organised, meticulous and analytical
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
