Business Function
Risk Management Group (RMG) is responsible for the development and maintenance of risk management and internal control frameworks. We provide independent review and challenge to business to ensure that appropriate balance is considered in risk/return decisions. In addition, RMG is responsible for the monitoring and reporting on key risk issues of the Bank. To manage risk effectively and deliver strong financial performance, we invest significantly in our people and infrastructure.
Responsibilities:

  • Check and approve the creation / maintenance of banking facilities, collateral records and basel data in source systems
  • Provide user stories and participate in UAT on various system enhancement/development
  • Perform daily, monthly data quality checking to ensure the input / content accuracy for Basel 2 reporting
  • Develop and continuously review, streamline, and improve process of the team to increase efficiency
  • Check the correctness of details of management/periodical reports in a timely manner
  • Execute risk mitigation measures and compliance requirement to address issues reported in Basel and other regulatory authorities
  • Review and provide sign-off of the updated relevant operation manual, if appropriate
Requirement:
  • Degree Holder in Banking/Finance or other related disciplines
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in banking operations is preferred
  • Team player with good problem solving skills and inter-personal/communication skills
  • Solid knowledge on prevailing local banking regulations as well as bank's internal compliance requirements is preferred
  • Good communication in English and Chinese (both spoken and written) and presentation skills
  • Good sense of ownership and people management skills
