The Investment Finance Real Estate Specialist is a developing professional role. This is a newly created role to support the Real Estate Lending in Asia Pacific (both residential real estate and commercial real estate)

Responsibilities:

RRE Underwriting
  • Provide support to Transactor which includes credit underwriting, end-to-end transaction processing and post-transaction portfolio management for RRE facilities.
    • Compilation of information and performing of credit analysis
    • Ensure all credit analysis are in compliance with local regulations, RRE Product Programs, Citi Credit Policy and other related CPB Policies
    • Prepare credit memo and facilitate credit approval
    • Liaise with OCA and Legal for valuation report, loan documentation and deal closing (include line availment and funding)
    • Work closely with credit controllers to complete systemic set up
    • Facilitate credit approval or any changes post-deal
    • Annual review of CM facilities
    • Deal with any ad-hoc requests from compliance or senior management as required (including portfolio reviews and CCAR)
    • Coordinate with IFAs for CA circulation and approvals


General Support
  • Insurance request, renewal and related approvals
  • Covenant monitoring
  • Valuation maintenance
  • Work with IFS for processing CRE CAs
  • Work with FRI and IFS to run the annual net AUM test for the HK RRE portfolio
  • Review annual land search for the HK RRE portfolio
  • Assisting in RRE program manager and IFT in Portfolio Management, reporting and remedial management
  • Participating in Strategic / Ad hoc projects, system enhancements, Compliance review, Internal Audit, MCA and the likes


Qualifications:
  • 4 to 5 years relevant experience
  • Strong analytical, financial structuring and execution skills
  • good working knowledge of Citibank's Credit Policies, Product Programs and Citi Policies
  • An in depth knowledge and understanding of Financial Analysis including Financial and cash flow modelling
  • Good administrative and organizational skills
  • Attention to detail and adherence to policies and procedures
  • Good working knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Good communication (written and verbal)
  • Team Player
  • Detailed knowledge of the core CPB lending systems - Credit Platform and Credit Approval Accelerator. Good working knowledge of supporting systems - OneSource and Document Management Systems (DMS)


Education:
  • Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience
