The Senior Private Banking Assistant role is a fantastic opportunity to assist a top performing Relationship Management team for the long term. The role will be controlling all the administrative tasks within the team who are managing UHNW Private Client portfolios, predominantly investment focused with some lending.
This role would particularly suit somebody who has a proven track record in providing administrative support to a team of Relationship Managers / Wealth Managers with an Investment focus and who would like to embark in this role for the long term.
The Senior Private Banking Assistant will also be responsible for general administrative tasks such as scheduling, organising travel arrangements, conference call planning, documentation, etc.
The Senior Private Banking Assistant for the Private Bank will build and maintain strong relationships with the private clients whilst handling day-to-day correspondence with them and their representatives.
The successful candidate will keep the Private Bank Relationship Managers up to date with all Private Client related information and delegating tasks accordingly.
Processing Private Client account opening from inception to completion, including gathering all necessary KYC and AML documentation.
Generation of client presentations and pitch-books as well as preparing for / processing private client meetings.
The Senior Private Banking Assistant with execute some private clients orders on behalf of the private bank (FX, Cash, Equities, Fixed Income etc.). Also assisting with cash management.
Initiate projects to enhance existing processes and contribute ideas for improvements to the Relationship Manager team and to management of the Global Private Bank.
At least 6-8 years' experience of working as a Private Banking Assistant / Assistant Relationship Manager in private banking or an Investment Assistant support role working with Private Clients.
A proven track record of taking control of the administrative operation of a Relationship Management / Wealth Management team.
A good understanding of the private client investment management / private banking industry and its products.
Previous experience of private client account opening is necessary.
Experience of trading multi-assets is advantageous.
Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
