Department Profile

Morgan Stanley's Investment Banking Division (IBD) provides industry, country and product expertise in order to develop and execute innovative and customized solutions to the most challenging strategic and financing issues clients face. These solutions include for example: initial public offerings; equity and equity-linked financings; mergers, acquisitions and restructurings; defense advisory assignments; strategic partnerships; debt placements; share repurchases; and hedging, swaps and derivatives etc.

The Asia Pacific IPO Documentation team is responsible for the day to day support of banking deal teams executing initial public offerings, specifically to ensure requirements relating to due diligence records and deal documentation are met.

Role and Responsibilities:

We are looking for an IPO Documentation Professional to support the execution of Hong Kong sponsor initial public offerings (HK IPO). The successful candidate will: play an important role working closely with HK IPO deal teams to ensure requirements relating to due diligence records and deal documentation are met; provide support implementing Asia Pacific IBD risk and controls; and provide support with implementing strategic Asia Pacific IBD management initiatives.



Qualifications:


Skill required:

  • Have at least 2 years professional services or legal experience working on corporate finance transactions, including Hong Kong IPOs
  • Effective time management and attention to detail
  • Ability to navigate and master files, spreadsheets and documents important
  • Fluency in both English and Mandarin are essential
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills required
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or law
